Atriis acquires ReTravel to boost corporate traveler engagement

Business travel booking platform Atris acquired Reviewa cross-selling technology solution based on machine learning.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In a statement, Atriis says the acquisition “even more [its] commitment to delivering traveler-centric technology.

Israeli company ReTravel, which was founded during the pandemic, predicts what products and services to offer travelers during the booking process.

The company, a 2022 PhocusWire Hot 25 Startup, will be integrated into Atriis, with its founders Revital Kristal and Nir Gurevich joining as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer respectively.

Kristal says, “Business travelers are estimated to make up 12% of air travellers, but account for up to 75% of profits. Atriis opens up a whole world of business travel to our technology. We will be able to provide business traveler deals across travel policies, approval flows, single sign-on and more!

Omri Amsalem, co-founder of Atriis, adds: “As business travel rebounds in a chaotic reality where flights are constantly cancelled, call centers with unbearable wait times and businesses have a duty With extra due diligence, travel program leaks turn into a huge problem. The need for a managed channel approach, putting the traveler first, is the only strategy for high lifetime value. Travelers expect this experience, businesses need a different solution and TMCs need to deliver it.
