OYO will now promote Direct Booker properties through its Belvilla brand, which offers around 1,800 properties.
Mandar Vaidya, CEO of OYO Europe, says: “We see a huge advantage in offering more holiday homes in the Dalmatian region. We are particularly excited about Dubrovnik, Croatia’s most visited tourist destination, where we will significantly improve our presence with this acquisition. Direct Booker is a great addition to our portfolio of hotels and residences in Croatia and across Europe.
OYO acquired @Leisure in 2019 for €360 million, marking its entry into the vacation rental space in Europe.
The company, which later rebranded @Leisure to OYO Vacation Homes, acquired TUI’s travel rental business six months later and said it was looking for further “tuck-in” acquisitions in Europe.
