As cruise travel returns in earnest in 2022, one operator has shifted one of the key components of its product to an online platform.
fun (owned by TUI) will manage shore excursion ticketing for P&O Cruises and Cunard, after a trial with passengers on voyages on the Azura ship.
The platform will be integrated with the P&A Cruises and Cunard websites and will allow passengers to book tours, activities and attraction tickets to any destination where the brand’s ships are scheduled to dock.
P&O and Cunard (part of the Carnival group of brands) say the integration with Musement will “complement” existing shore excursions run by the ships.

The deal is billed as a mechanism for passengers to find other options for shore excursions.
Reservations can be arranged by passengers once they have booked their cruise and prior to docking at a destination.
