Royal Caribbean launches automated payment program: Travel Weekly

Royal Caribbean International has launched a FlexPay payment program that travel agents can offer their customers.

FlexPay, available in Royal Caribbean’s Espresso reservation system, allows up to 10 automatic payments organized by date and amount. More than one credit card can be used.

The automation tool is the latest addition to Royal Caribbean’s Espresso system. In March, the cruise line launched a cruise planner, designed to help agents explore shore excursions, dining options, and drink and meal packages based on the ship’s departure date.

The cruise line has also introduced an upcoming cruise credit redemption tool that allows travel agents to check status and redeem FCCs, send guests personalized FCC reminder emails, and trade multiple FCCs at once.

Other tools include a vaccine testing and requirements program to help travel counselors share current protocols with customers.
